Chirp/sqeal With No Drive Belt
#31
Any solution?
This is what im experiencing. The chirping is me throttling the gas. It will stay continuous if in just the right spot, rpms and under load. It just started a year ago. The pitch will change when the transmission changes gears. I cleaned the throttlebody and the vacuum conections around it.

I watched the video but couldn't hear a single squeak or chirp. Lots of road and other vehicle noise though.

I had the same issue turned out to be the (+) wire to certain coils that broke at the main harness connector and prevented power to the coil(s)

2001 ford f150 supercrew triton makes a pop sound when cranking
Have a 2001 ford f150 5.4 started having a very small popping like sound along with a weak sounding start and maybe like some kinda air is leaking when starting. Hubby changed the sparkplugs the other day and whatever it was stopped and was sounding great and strong when cranking. 3 days later irs doing it again. Has no engine light. No rough idle. No misfires. Seems like the rpms are running a little higher. Pretty sure truck had original factory plugs in it with 270k miles they looked horrible and no tip left/black but no oil on them or spots. Put in motorcraft platinum. Gapped them ourselves. Just had a full tune up. Just wondering why new plugs fixed it for a few days now its back doing it. Does that mean it's a plug issue and if so then what's messing up that plug? Dk if anyone will even see this post but if so plz help
