I just installed a complete catch can kit with vacuum from both turbo pipes. It is a well made kit for my 2017 F150 2.7 Ecoboost.

Everything seems normal but on a trip yesterday, I had a feeling of a little stumble or miss on part throttle acceleration. On full throttle, I sensed a little loss of power. The truck is 3 months old.

Now, I may be imagining this but I am concerned nonetheless. There is no CEL. The manufacturer of the kit said to check for a vacuum leak and that the catch can is a sealed system and shouldn't affect performance.

I have been over every connection and am stumped. Maybe I am going nuts.

Any ideas?

 

Try de-modding, ie, go back to stock and see if the problem remains.
That would validate if the problem is with the catch can or installation.
