I'm thinking of getting a Bullydog or Superchip programmer to boost performance of my 2012 3.5 Ecoboost. Does anyone have any advice as whether this upgrade is worth the money and does it cause any issues as I don't want to ruin a brand new truck?

Well too late lol...I purchased the Superchips Flashpaq and will have it in a couple days. I am excited to see what gains I can get as I will also be installing a K&N intake as well. If anyone has any experience with this programmer your thoughts are greatly appreciated!
I was going to recommend an SCT tuner from Mike at 5 Star. Also, you might want to do some reading on the intakes before you spend all that money, don't think they really help for what they cost. Look at improving the exhaust first.

Actually I cancelled my order for the Superchip tuner until I research these products a little more. I have heart good things on the SCT tuner and surprisingly some bad on the Bullydog? Anyone want I comment on their tuner?

I personally haven't used a bully before but I've had quite literally dozens of customers switch to SCT from the bully as they didn't like it for a variety of reasons, hot tranny temps, not noticeable power increase, weird shifting patterns, stuff like that

How does the SCT tuner differ from the rest? Can the programs damage the vehicle at all? What happens at inspection do you have to tune it back to factory settings? Sorry for all the questions but I am new to a lot of these aftermarket products.
