Default Bully dog???

I just put a bully dog power pup on my 07 4.6 4x4. Can anyone give me some feedback about them? My truck is all stock besides the bully dog. What else would be good to put with it? Or should I just buy a edge cs and what would be good with that? I'm used to diesels so can someone please lead me in the direction.

Welcome to the gas tuning world. Bully dog makes good diesel products, but their gas tuning is lacking. The fuel trims and compromises in the cannned tunes leave something to desire. Custom tunes will help and can account for mods. A device like the Edge CS can be custom tuned to get the most out of everything. Also look into the Gotts mod and electric fans to get a little more out of things.

Coming from the diesel world and you still put a Bully Dog on your truck???? As you know from your diesel tuning experience...bully dog can add all the power you want; however, the biggest down fall that people have...they don't do anything to adjust the transmission to deal with the added power. Other tuners, especially custom tunes, adjust both the ECM and TCM (which are now combined on the newer trucks) so the added power doesn't hurt the tranny. I would put the bully dog in a box and send it back. Get yourself a good custom tune...you and your truck will both be happier. Good Luck!
