Default Weather tech visors

Tripledigit-Thanks for the pics and info. Mine seemed extremely tight but I may have to reconsider. Good to know the clips aren't mandatory.

I got the low profile window vents too. I can leave my windows cracked open in warm weather. I love them. Also going through the car wash ,,,,no issues. They don't get ripped off.

Why did you guys buy the visors? Just curious, is it just so you can keep the windows cracked when parked?

My dad has them on his F-150 but I never really saw a true reason to get them for mine. His AC went out, so he can at least drive with the windows cracked in the rain.

I prefer to leave the windows cracked while parked in hot weather. I also like to drive with the windows cracked in all weather conditions, even rain. They also seem to reduce wind and wind noise.

Thanks for the reply. I may keep my eyes open for a decent pair, but not in any hurry.

Sadly I got mine from a 30yr old habit, smoking. I quit 5+ years ago and never smoked in my truck but it was sort of a left over remnant you could say.

It's also nice to let the truck vent while parked all day in the sun, allows it to cool down faster for the drive home.

There is at least one YouTube video that shows you how to "reprogram" the windows so you don't experience that issue. It's very simple. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact procedure. I'll see if I can find the link to the video.

Even before following the steps in the video, I only experienced the issue with the passager side window. And then, it was only periodically. It's never happened since watching the video.

I am almost 100% sure this is the video. Make sure ignition is in accessorie position. You'll do this after the rain guards are installed, of course.
