Default blower problem

If anyone has had this I could use your help.
I have a 2000 F 150 xlt.

When I am driving I get good air flow out of my vents, defrost, and floor. After about 30 minutes the fan is still runing but hardly any air flow like somthing has blocked it. I have tryed stoping for 5 min there is no change but if I stop for 30 min or so then it will be back to normal.

??? mistified

Your symptoms described, quite frankly don't make sence. If the fan is still running there should be air flow someplace. Suggest verifying fan is still operational, and I mean at all speeds after this 30 minutes of operation.

I have done that, when I say there is no air,, there is you can here it, there is just no air out any of the vents and the fan is working at all the different settings.
That’s the mystery?

Hi Sandman, i would suggest that it is a faulty hose or connection somewhere in your vacuum line!!

Good luck Billabong

Ford sarted using electronic air door actuators, I would check to make sure. If when your driving down the road and the air starts coming out the defrost then it is vaccum operated because that is the default postion for all vaccum operated systems. The electric ones will tend to go out just like any electric motor over time and that could be why it works sometimes.
