Default Blower motor Resistor

2011 F150 w dual zone climate controls.
History - started wanting to only blow on high, even on max ac - could not adjust the speeds
seemed to want to work right at times
started only blowing on high for some time
reports pointed to the blower motor resistor
replaced it and the new one would run for a second or two, then turn off for a second or two ,continuously .
went back with the old one that blows all the time for several days
yesterday , it works more like it should , out of the blue.
any thoughts?

Any luck figuring it out? Mine is starting to do the same thing. It cools down to desired temperature when on Auto but the fan speed stays on high.

You might have more luck in the 2009-2014 section. I don't think as many people will see it here.
