Default BFG, Goodyear, or Cooper?

I'm going to be buying tires soon, but I'm not sure on which ones. Was wondering if you guys would help me out and post what you would get.

I'm getting 285/70/17 tires. I'm not too worried about the price, as they are all pretty close to eachother. I'm just wondering what one is the best quality. Please post your experiences if you have any. Most of the driving will be on the road so I know they'll wear a little quicker, but I want a nice looking tire which is why I chose the 3. If there's any other tires I should look into please let me know. Thanks for your time

Since you said you will be mainly road driving.Go with All Terain.I have the Duratracs and love them so far.Wear is nice.Already have put 13k on them and tread still looks the same.I have had them in mud, wet, dry pavement and have out performed my expectations.breaking from a dead stop is great,Stopping also is great. Some of my friends say there to loud sometimes on certains kinds of pavement.Thats fine with me.

i would go with cooper s/t's over stt's, i have st's and my buddy has stt's, mine are quieter, have less of that little wobble you get from a beefy tire and perform just as well off road, i follow him everywhere, his can get squirrely in the rain too, the tread on the st is pretty beefy too, more than bfg at's, idk how it happened but he has big buts in his side lugs but its just the lugs the tire is fine

i am all about cooper tires ( sadly no one around my area carried them when i was looking) but my dad had the stt's awhile back. he loved them. great traction all around, wear well, and look nice. besides cooper are still made in america.

My bro has the stt's on his 250 they dig like a mother!!! he does mainly road driving tho gets aprox 40k per set, but if your not going to do any agressive off roading id go with A/T: st/bfg A/ts if your looking still for more agressive my friend swears by the goodyear MTR....he says arpox 40-50k and gets great snow traction for mud tire, bit quiter then stt if thats a issue.

I'm going with the STT's, allthough I love the BFG AT's, the STT's are cheaper for me. I will never go with another Goodyear though, they just dont hold up for me at all... I'm actually going from Goodyears to Coopers on this next set...
