Best Way to Clean Windows without removing Tint?
I've read some posts but I'm still wary. I accidentally started using newspaper and a alcoholic mix to clean the inside of my window (normally use it for all other glass) and I noticed a small part of the tint was flaking off where I used it (metal looking flake). I obviously stopped and it isn't too bad, but what is the best material and cleaner to use where it won't remove tint. Idk how old the tint is either but the spot where it came off on the inside annoys me.
Thank you!

I've been using Stoners Invisible Glass for years and it has never once hurt my tint. I get it at Walmart.

I've been using Armour All glass cleaner on all my vehicles. For my daily driver, I clean the rear windows every other week because of my dogs. Been doing this for years and all my vehicles have tint. No problems.
Seems like Stoners is popular. Might give it a try as well.

Hmm, I have always just used windex and never had any issues with my tint.
I keep a 1 gallon jug in the shop and refill a small spray bottle when needed.
Any tint guys that can explain the issue?

I've used a wide variety of products without ever having issues with tint. Windex, to Armor All, to Meguir's, to Invisible Glass, to glass cleaner I received from the glass shop that replaced the windshield (twice) in the Legacy I had before I got my F-150. I'm currently using Chemical Guys glass cleaner, and no issues with it, either.
Caveat that every vehicle I've had with tint has been factory tint, I don't know if that would make a difference, although I doubt it.
