I believe you’re correct. The 9005 is used on the stock halogen high beam headlight housings. I use the 9005 LED bulbs on my fog lights. I’m running the Factory LED headlights so the LEDs are built in. I don’t use any light bulbs on these headlights.

You may may want to take a look at the halogen headlight mods thread. There are some tips on how to increase the light output by simply changing light bulb types and keeping the stock halogen headlight housings.

Also, Halogen bulbs will be rated for different applications like 9140, 9145, 9005. They all use the same form factor, but the wattage is different. When using for an LED application, this classification doesn’t really apply. That’s why you’ll see one LED bulb be compatible for multiple light bulbs.

On the Dash is 15.5....

Sweet spot is that 45-52mph range... green bar hovers almost 25.

When on the highway depending on wind direction and going 65 mph, pulling 1500 RPMs i'v seen anywhere from 15 to 19..That's why i know it's all about aerodynamics. Engine isn't boosting very much accept on acceleration (5* 91 Octane Tune).. I get better MPG on the street and city!

Interesting.... I forgot to add that I run the 5* Eco tune at that. I haven't notice a mpg difference either. I'm also not calibrated, so that could make a difference too.

When I calibrated the speedo for the 35's I immediately missed the 17.5 reading on the dash....

not sure why the Low link is taking to Ebay. They were all 89.99 on Amazon for each pair. Same link as the Hi beam just different size.

Any problems getting the dust caps back on???
I bought these (
Amazon Amazon
) and can't seem to get the dust caps to push back in. It looks like there is just enough room when they are off, but when I get to that point where it is really close, they just won't go in. Love the output, but went out this morning and had condensation inside the driver's housing. Was thinking to try to duct around the dust cap before I give up and send them back...

have not got them in yet, but I’ve heard that they fit with the stock dust caps!
