Default BELOW invoice pricing

ok expert hagglers.. How does one go about getting below invoice pricing on a custom ordered truck? I ordered a platinum and the dealer made me agree to price up front. invoice i believe was 55k. Im reading thru posts here and am feeling a little taken that i accepted invoice price. (im no longer accepting the truck due to financial troubles right now) I will wait for 2016 ordering. I dont want to pay more than i have to and am looking for perhaps some insider information on pricing of these truck.. any help would be much appreciated!

HINT/TIP: You'll find posting in the

There is no secret. Some are full of it, some include rebates and such in their calculations, or don't realize that while they paid "under invoice" they got a lousy number for their trade.

I used to do X-Plan on every Ford purchase (now qualify for A).

If you pay true invoice, less rebates, that's a good deal.

I posted my buying experience here and some said I got taken to the cleaners...I shopped for weeks. Didn;t get the color I wanted and I bought off the lot after trying out the truck weeks earlier the dealer contacted me and I did get the deal I wanted . If I set there on the website and 'built' the truck I wanted, I would expect to pay full msrp.

Default BELOW invoice pricing

You mean you agreed to a deal and are backing out because you didn't like the terms you negotiated?

I believe he said he can't afford a $55.k truck...and felt like others got better deals then his price. So he backed out 'because of financial issues'.
I'd love to have a platinum ...or a XLT....or Reba ....but I don't have any of those..including financial issues.

Buy from a big dealership, they are more worried about #'s of sales, the small dealership's have to make more profit because they dont sell as many truck's.

Buy at the end of the month when they are more likely to deal. And wait for special's.
Get youre trade in price FIRST!! then deal on the new. Then they cant lower youre trade in value.

Never buy on impulse, walk away look at other truck's NEVER say that's it the perfect 1 then they know they have you.
I usually pic 2 then ask which 1 i could get the better deal on, if 1 has been on the lot longer they will be more inclined to deal.

He said he agreed to the price and they ordered the truck for him. Truck arrived and he felt he didn't negotiate as good a deal as others so now he's backing out. That tells me all I need to know about him.
