But it won't look like this. About $130 at Silver State Ford Parts.

I got one of these for $80 back in 06 when I bought my 06. They had a sale on Ford accessories at the time. I transferred it to my 2011, 2014 and my 2017. I had to trim it a little to fit my 2017.

Thanks for all the posts everyone. Now, taking it a step further, I've been reading a lot about how drop in bed liners can be detrimental to your trucks' bed (mold, mildew and corrosion). However, the description for this drop in bed liner states "Ribbed floor provides drainage and increased airflow between the bed and the liner to reduce mold, mildew and corrosion." The dealership threw in the drop in bed liner but I had them install a hard folding aluminum tonneau cover before taking delivery of the truck.

I won't be using this truck as a work truck so I would occasionally put big and/or heavy items in the bed. I don't want to do a spray in liner such as Linex or Rhino Liner so I'm wondering if the Bed Mat is all I really need. I'm assuming they're easy to take in an out of the truck bed (in order to inspect the bed from time-to-time). Even with the hard folding tonneau cover, can water still get under the bed liner? Thanks for the help everyone.

LOL, so I guess there is some truth to what I posted in Post #6.

My only squawk is that Ford built the mat like a tank, and it weighs like one for a geezer like me. But it sure does not move around.

The extra weight can't be bad... it'll be handy for the Winter time.

Had to bring this one back up. I got a new truck last week and they gave me a bed mat because I said "I would think about it". Anyway its the F150 one like pictured above but I want the tail gate covered as I use that as a table, work area or seat.
What have you guys done that have a bed mat ?

I bought a OEM plastic tailgate protector (shown in my pic at the top of this page).

I got my Mat for $92 CDN dollars from the dealership... instead of paying for an over-priced spray-in box liner that would basically be free to the next guy, since I'm trading in my 17 in for an 18 right away.

92 bucks versus whatever a spray-in box liner is worth. It's a no brainer.
