Bed liner options?
I am purchasing a 2009 Ford F150 XLT and there is no bed liner. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I am more interested in a pain on bed liner like rhinoliner or something to that effect. I appreciate your imput.
line-x is the industry standard but you should ask the shop you're considering to show you some of their previous work, there are some really good and really bad shops out of there. Your satisfaction will depend on how well they do their job!

I had a Line-x put in last year and love it. It's incredible durable. I did a lot of research before getting mine. I think the most important factor (whatever you choose) is preparation. Make sure they prepare the bed properly. I've heard of a few different methods: chemical wipe down, wire brush, hand sanding and belt sanding. IMHO I've listed these in order of quality, chemical wipe being the lowest and belt sanding being the best. My Line-x shop didn't use a belt sander, but they did sand it so the liner would adher better.
If you check out the different shops in your area you can probably get samples or at least look at them. Line-x uses a 1 to 1 compound which makes it tougher, while Rhinoliner uses a 2 to 1 (their papers say 1 to 1, but the dealers told me it was 2 to 1) compound for their Hardline product (comparable to Line-x). Rhino has different types of liners, rubbery vs hard where Line-x just does the hard. I think they both have lifetime warranties. Before you give them your credit card or write the check, do some googling to see if you can find a coupon. I found a $100 off a Rhinoliner! I'd already made up my mind that I wanted the Line-x so I asked if they would honor the coupon and they did!. Spend a few extra minutes looking around and save some money. Good luck.
