Bed lights

However, to completely make the install water proof you need to make weatherproof connections as well, this is the weak point, not the lights. Doing mine I used waterproof butt connectors, then used heat shrink over top of that, then electrical taped the connection and finally used split conduit over everything. Furthermore I used a waterproof rocker switch as well.
The application I originally saw them used on was either here or another forum, cant remember, I think he had a cover on his bed.
IMO, if you make the connections like I did, use a waterproof rocker, make sure you have an inline fuse and mount them under the rails I dont think you will have any issue at all.
Just some advice......I was just about to order one until I realized what would happen when I picked up stuff like a load of bark mulch in the spring.
Make sure you think about what you put in your bed before you order one.

.
What you were to place them up under the rails and then cut plexiglass to fit the gap and mount it up tight in there to help with water and wire pull from possible logs and what not? Where do you run the wires out of the bed though to wire em in?

Here are the answers to what I think you were asking. They are thin LED strips almost like thick tape. You can rivet or glue them up there. Wiring them to tie into how you want them to turn on.
