Default Bama Tuner Question

I used to own a 12' Mustang V6 (Don't judge it was my first car), and now I own a F150 with the 6.2L in it (non-Raptor). For my old Mustang I had a Bama Preformance Tuner and got a bunch of tunes for it. The tuner is 'unmarried' because I took my tunes off the Mustang before I sold it, and I would like to reuse the tuner on my truck now. Obviously the tuner needs to be cleared or something because I don't think the tunes that were set for the Mustang would work for the F150. Do I have to 'marry' the device to my truck somehow, and order email tunes and download them to the tuner? I'm obviously new to this

Thanks!

You would want to update the tuner with the SCT updater program software ( free download off www.sctflash.com ) and once that is done, you can use the preloaded tunes from SCT on it for the 6.2 or go get some custom tunes written for the 6.2 and use the tuner to load that on the 6.2.

Once you use it to tune the 6.2, the tuner will then become vin married or vin locked to the 6.2. ( you unmarried it prior by putting the Mustang back to stock OEM Ford tune )

Trust that helps, thanks!

I wouldn't let Bama tune my lawn mower.
Find a local shop & tell them what you need, or there are plenty of " canned " tunes on the net from a variety vendors, pick one..
