Yeah, it's the roll-x or the VP for me too. I can wait, so I'm sitting patiently for the VP to get released so I can see the reviews on it and make a decision. Hopefully Bak will release the VP soon so I can place an order.

Wow, with customer service like that I actually really want to get a Roll-x for my tonneau cover. Hopefully I can get an order in soon.

This is Morrie from BakFactoryOutlet. I field ALL customer service issues for our website. I have reviewed the earlier posts and it seems that Julian has already authorized a replacement for you. Personally, I have not heard from you about this issue. We encourage our customers to contact us BEFORE approaching the factory directly so we can handle this type of communication on behalf of our customers. My guess is either they know this is a problem and do not want to start replacing them and set a precedent, or they still want to replace it but wish to work on a redesign to better accomodate grit in the siderail hinges.

I have contacted Morrie from BakFactoryOutlet and he is handling the replacement.

I must appologize as well. For some reason I was thinking Julian was from BakFactoryOutlet when in fact he is from Bak. I'm an idiot.
So I apologize to Morrie and BakFactoryOutlet for not realizing this and contacting you earlier. I appreciate your help Morrie.

Great company I love my roll x, I was promised hat when ordered but did not come with order. Had my hat in a week ! My product works great and again I love it
And can't beat a company that stands behind there product and great customer service. All my friends love the looks so I'm sending your way

Wow, I just got a 2015 crew cab and really have been contemplating about getting some sort of a tonneau cover. a had a split fold style on a truck years ago and it was pretty heavy and the covers needed to be pushed pretty hard to lock them It WAS NOT a BAK product just to be clear. Anyways....wanting a tonneau cover on my 2015, I have been really looking at the Roll-X style. I always do a ton of web research prior to forking out my hard earned dollars. (Plus they are Canadian dollars so they dont go as far) I was searching for Roll-X reviews and issues which brought me ironically to the forum where I am a member.

Regardless of what I have read online, if this is what their customer service is like....and that service spreads across the 49th parallel to Canada, I will definitely stop looking at other covers and go with my gut and order a BAK roll-X.

Is there any known issues, concerns or that with them fitting on the 2015 Crew cabs? Or is it still to early to tell. The BAK storage box looks like a clever idea. Anyone have any input on those?
