Bak Roll-X -- All this hype, where's the info?

Just got my Roll-X and I was wondering how far up everyone else's went up? The cover to latch and clear my tailgate is all the way up and the front seal is folded up against the cab. I thought it would rest on the bulkhead and the gap between the box and cab would be there still.
Otherwise it was a simple install and it works fine from every other aspect.

Mine is about the same way, there is a small gap at the cab but not much, I had to move it up that far to help get it to latch better.
Just drove in the rain yesterday for the first time, was somewhat disappointed with the water drips on the inside, will have to see if I can stop some of it.

Go Broncos
Seems like this is basically a "hard cover" version of the Extang Revolution considering the all aluminum crossbars. Pretty much the same concept/look. Looks like a really nice cover and I bet the design eliminates wind flap which is the one complaint I have with my Revolution. That said, I wouldn't pay double what my Revolution cost me.

I suspect the cover will do its job keeping water from entering the top. The rub is how the tailgate fits to the bed: There's about a 3/16" gap on both sides that will easily let a lot of water in. I may run some weatherstripping in those gaps. Plus there's all sorts of gaps in the bed itself. I figure I'll either put stuff in containers/garbage bags to make sure it stays dry.

Your Mod Superstore!
Hey everyone, BAK was here today doing some training on their products and I got some clarity on the questions above. First, the issue with the cover hitting the window has been resolved on all new covers ordered. They added a bracket that holds the strap so it will not hit the window when tied down (pic 2) AND they include 3 black rubber bumper strips (pic 3) to protect the window in case you should roll the cover too far forward. If you have one of the first models made, please contact BAK and they will send you both the bumpers and the relocation bracket (uses self-tapping screws- pic 1).
pic 1- relocation bracket and self-tapping screws
pic 2- strap that holds cover in place
pic 3- 3 rubber bumpers to protect window
Let me know if you have any questions!

Morrie. The picture of the hat didn't work for me but it may be my phone.
Keep us updated about the bracket for the bakbox as well! I'll be getting it as soon as it's ready.
Edit - Well, I had a feeling it was my phone and sure enough. Cant wait to get this thing replaced. Good deal, Ill get pictures up of the cover as soon as its installed. Hopefully the end of this week.
