Back up camera
You can't fool the truck to think it's in reverse I'm sure that would cause all sorts of problems. You would have to activate the camera through the wiring from the BCM. If you look at wiring diagrams for a truck with and without the option see what that switch does and see if your truck has similar wiring. Just throwing it out there a wild *** guess.
The resolution on the camera (Lariat 501a 8" SYNC 3) in my 2018 is so bad that even using it in reverse is near worthless. Using it to backup to a trailer hitch is only slightly better than hand signals from someone standing outside.
I can but I'm using an aftermarket headunit. I still can't activate it at speed above 10MPH but under, sure, I just press/hold a button on my headunit and the backup camera image pops up. I can leave it up and as soon as I go above 10MPH, the image goes black. At one point, when I replaced my camera trying to see if I could get a sharper image, the replacement camera initially didn't have the dynamic steering lines but it did let me activate the backup image at speed above 10MPH. In the end, I did the calibration vatchamacallit to get the dynamic lines back and the reverse image now only works under 10MPH.
