I don't need to go up ramps, blocks, or pavers. I'm able to get underneath just fine, and do the filter and oil.

OP, either you're a lot bigger than me, or the new trucks have less ground clearance than my oldie. I can roll over underneath my tranny with my leveling kit, and never had to worry about not having space before that.

Good idea on the pavers though, I like the ingenuity!

hmm, on our 2wd F-150 and our Edge my father and I can both get under there just fine, the 4x4 F-150's are a breeze

Maybe your leveling kit lifted your truck a couple of inches. Or perhaps my size of 6' 4" makes it a tight squeeze when crawling under for oil changes. As I mentioned, I did the first oil change without lifting, but it was difficult. Also as a member of the "Medicare set", my joints don't flex as good as they used to, so the extra 3" of clearance made the DIY oil change a more enjoyable experience.

I made a set out of 2x10s for my Mustangs using this design. With the level on my truck though, no need for ramps. Although lately I've been too lazy to do it myself anyway.

My dad is in the process of building/buying a set of ramps for his '11 F150. His garage has a raised walkway in the front that he needs to put part of the truck up on to get it in all the way.

Even with a 6" lift, it's a little tight around the A-arms when using a creeper. My year sucks for changing the filter. Tucked way up above the driver's side A-arm and you can't catch the oil. Having my mechanic do it from now on so I don't have to clean oil off the floor when I'm done.
