true on the comfort thing i test drove a fx4 and couldn't stand the cloth seats with the bolster supports. the leather n the lariat was a huge improvement. i agree the chevys seats were more comfortable but i hated the whole dash layout. the gauge cluster was just to crammed together and the steering wheel hid most of the gauges. my main girpe with the chevys i looked at was the cheap tinny box , same goes for a co worker that has a 08 he liked his 06 much better hes also dissapointed in the box and tailgate.

yea the seats in my truck just kill me, i drive 50 miles on cruise and i'm a cripple when i get out, never had a problem with any other truck but this one, i don't get it. the leather seems like an improvement, never spent alot of time in them though, not a fan of leather though. yeah the 06's are way better than the new 07+ style, not to mention everything is damn plastic on the outside of them, just something else to get destroyed in the winter playing.

Hey ATOM- Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I also like the newer GM trucks but I could never bring myself to buy one until they get rid of that OBNOXIOUSLY hard plastic dash (wich seems like it is GM's signature trademark in all their new trucks and SUV's- Oh and the Camaro, too). Other that the dash and the door panels, that truck really does have a nice interior. I would have to get a GMC Sierra though cause the Silverado just looks... not quite right to me.

see i loved the dash, especially the hard textured plastic, i had the fact i couldn't armorall my dash, then i painted it so that took care of that, lol. the 07+ style has grew on me, what really bugs me about them is the horrid fender design, gotta run a 7.5" lift to fit 33's on 20x10's with no rubbing, then factor in the stupid stabilitrak/abs lights, nice lit up dash, lol.

thanks man great lift kit, no one can match it, especially not the new rough country kit, i asked the rough country guy some questions in the vendor section and the poor sap wouldn't even answer them. what a joker
