Well, if you want to take a step in the wrong direction, more power to you! Good luck with that!

Wrong direction, give me a brake GM outsold ford on 1/2 ton sales for how many years. I don't need luck, just a better platform for what i want to build.

Nothing against you nor GM. Most my friends own Chebby's. Sales are nice, but I prefer the better platform. After the multiple F150s I've owned and the 1500s my friends have, I can not agree GM offers a better overall platform.

But I'm not here for a pissing match. I wished you luck with your next ride. All that matters is you are happy with your decision.

what you should do is get a newer body style chevy and jack it up it would look cool. i wish you luck. im almost thinking about switching. im going for automotive tech for tech. school and i might try and get a job at a chevy dealership and hell i mise well by a truck if i get a discount. and hell why not make it a diesel i love the smell of them :P. but yeah im starting to like the chevy looks over the new f150's i did like the f150 till they switched to the new stile. o and chevy had a kick ***** truck here in green bay. it was called the Bandit edition(i think)

the main thing about my f150 is how uncomfortable i am in it, it's just not plush enough or something, it's all about preference.

i would have to agree on that. my friend has a 03 reg cab short box 5.3l and man is that a nice truck. it is black which is cool. and he raced a couple things. a 02 7.3l and 05 6.0l f250 which the kid that owns these beats the hell out of them and they dont have any power he beat them, a mini cooper turbo he had him untill he hit the limiter and then the cooper passed him, i think a grand prix gtp and came close to beating him but lost. and a couple thngs i cant rember. but yeah for a nice truck it has power and like you said you can get more choice of those power upgrades for them.

For sure, the seats in the silverado's are way more comfy to me than the ford, not to mention i will be putting 100 miles on the truck daily, so comfort is a high concern.
