I think people sometimes forget that the cost of getting "your own special truck" extends beyond the check you cut to the dealer so that you can drive it off the lot.

To the OP ... Order your new truck as a fleet truck in the color you want, the front bench seat setup (although in gray, not black) ... and the vinyl floor. THEN ... go have the seats re-covered in black ... or put seat covers on them ... or something, whatever.

The point is, you CAN effectively have "your own special truck" ... just because Ford can't deliver it to you like that off the assembly line doesn't mean you're screwed.

Look at all the mods people do here ... I want my truck to come 4" higher than stock, with 35x12.50x20 mud tires on it ... but guess what? Ford doesn't do that. But guess what again? If I want that, I CAN get it ...

Trust me ... you can figure this one out ... just spend more time researching aftermarket options/prices, and spend less time telling all of us how angry you are that Ford isn't shutting down their production line to make your special truck for you ...
