Default How many speakers?

2011 super crew no Sony speakers and standard sync dash, Where are all the speakers located and what is easy enough to upgrade?
my understanding is I have 4-6x8 speakers in each door ? I'm no pro but I've watched some videos and believe I can figure it out.
Then a sub under the rear 12v plugs? What size sub ? Worth upgrading or just doing the poly fill?
What other options do I have that I could upgrade to make a noticeable difference ?

Look on the audio board here.. https://www.f150forum.com/f30/

You will find many, many posts of what your asking along with recommendations, how-to's, etc. Yes it is quite easy to remove the door panels and replace the stock speakers...just about any good name brand speaker will sound 100% better than the stock setup. You didn't list the year of your ride, i'm guessing probally it has been manufactured sometime within the last 10 years or so. The 09-14's have a 6x8 in each door, a 5x7 will also fit.

check out

www.crutchfield.com

Enter your vehicle info and they will tell you what you have and what will fit.

They have great customer service, they give you detailed installation instructions, and they give you wiring harnesses to fit your vehicle. No wire splicing needed.

Yes Crutchfield has basically got it all covered for anything audio. Top notch on what fits in your ride, really great people to work with too. They are a little pricey though...but their customer service, warranty and install guides are about as good as it comes.
