Default Anybody a Stereo Guru?

I need a little bit of help. I put my 2 10" subs and amp in my truck that I had in my '03 F-150. I am using the OEM head unit this time. I installed the SNI-35 line output converter. My problem is that I am not getting hardly any sound coming from my subs. I can feel them vibrate a little, but you can't really hear them. The speakers are brand new, my amp has power, the converter is wired properly. The amp worked perfectly fine when I removed it from my old truck. I am stumped. Any ideas?

Is there a dial on the line out converter?

How many connections did you make on it? Do you happen to have a picture of it?

Most LOC's have l&r dials, make sure they are turned up. Also, make sure the LOC is on the rear's. Although it's not going to be anything like a 4V low signal, the rears will give you the best high pass to send to the LOC.

I would also check the amp for "high pass" input. It you have the connector you could get rid of the LOC and the RCA's.

The dials are maxed out. Wired to rear speakers. What is a high pass input? When the system was in my old truck, I used the same RCA's, and all of the same wires. The only difference here is the addition of the LOC

make sure the subs are wired right. If they are out of phase they could be working against each other.

Most newer amps have RCA's terminals(low level input) and a plug/terminal(for high level input).

Check out your amp, if it has this you can do away with the LOC and just use it for a cleaner more efficient signal.

What model is the amp so we can check for ya.
