Default Any Comments or Suggestions?

Hi forum members, I registered today primarily for the purpose of getting some feedback regarding my 2009 F150 XLT. Any of you guys got any experience with adding on a bull ring anchor (retractable or stationary) to your top rails?

Personally, I've done some preliminary online searches for this particular product and wonder now which one by brand name is best. Of course I called the local Ford Parts Department and was told that they would have to order it for me saying it was something new that Ford has only recently started carrying.

Do they work ok? Do they rattle? Does it cause any damage to the top rail?

Appreciate any feed back on this. Thanks.

I am currently using one that retracts so that it sits flush with the side rail until you need to use it. I have not noticed any significant noise from it. Something similar to this one:
Amazon Amazon

They work fine and I have not noticed any damage to my rails.

I have the same ones on my 1998 Ranger and they are great. I plan on putting them on my F-150 when I get it.
