Well your best bet will be to get it converted to a Gryphon if the K&N is a full intake. Even if it's just the filter you still get better results with a custom tune. Level 3 Edge= 87 performance Gryphon.

Question about that.

Can I leave my truck tunned and then send me edge to bill? or do I have to return my truck to stock before sending it in?

I'm going to get mine converted but I'm gonna get a real exhaust first.

Has to be put back to stock before sending it in. The device gets "cleared" of the Edge tunes and Bill's tunes put in place.

A gryphon is a wolf in a sheeps(edge) clothing..

A gryphon can be custom tuned to your specific truck by bill at php..... He can account for which exhaust you have, which air intake you have, any other mod's you've made- what tires you have, how big your trailer is, how fat your wife is lol, whatever you want- he can make you the tune to get the best performance out of your specific truck.....

Where as a edge is very very limited in what it can do, yes you can make adjustments- and I have my truck running pretty damn good on a edge... but a gryphon is better as far as performance goes....

As a edge owner, if you haven't ordered the edge yet, just order a gyrphon from php- if you ever make changes to your truck in the future, they can write you a new tune for whatever it is- even if it's a supercharger.......
