I have a 2010 Ford F150 FX4 that came with the backup camera installed in the rear Ford emblem on the tailgate.

The camera has now crapped out and I'm looking for a replacement. The dealer wants my firstborn to replace it, so ideally I'm looking for a reasonably priced aftermarket one.
I've done some searches on the forums and found this one from Camera Source. Has anyone ever installed this and if so, what do they think?
I also found this one at Total Lube Care (odd place to find aftermarket products based on their name IMHO) and this one at Stage 3 Motorsports.
This one at Tailgate Camera claims to have infrared night vision. It's a good $100 cheaper than all the others, but is it any good?
Does anyone have any other options out there?
My big issue is backing-up up at night, as we have a narrow driveway with a large rock wall on the side. I've recently replaced my backup lights with LED's that are incredible, but I'm still looking for a camera with better vision at night than the original.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I got this from Costco to use as a front camera. You can use it on the front or rear, and installation only takes 5 minutes (camera is solar-powered and wirelessly connects to monitor which plugs into 12v inside).
After a couple days, here's my feedback:
Pros:
1 - Picture quality is really good
2. Insanely easy to install
3 - Can return to costco anytime if unsatisfied
Cons:
1 - It takes about a second to come on, and doesnt come on automatically like the stock camera. You have to wave your hand in front of the screen
2 - There's a split second delay, so if you're moving even slightly quickly you will already be on top of what's showing on the camera (drive slow)
3 - Requires you to mount a secondary display (basically the size of a phone)
4. Sometimes it wont come on without me unplugging the power to the monitor and plugging it back in. Haven't diagnosed the issue yet.
5 - Screen isn't all that bright in the daylight
6 - Longevity, TBD

do you want your camera to work right? I have seen first hand what happens when people cheap out and buy A/M camera replacements
I think it uses the same camera as the replacement camera in your post.
The display is very crisp and works well in the dark with just the stock reverse lights. My wife says the display is clearer than the camera in her Lexus. I did a write up on my install that has some not very good pictures of the display. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/camera...nstall-298195/
Most aftermarket cameras don’t use the same types of wiring/connectors, so if you go aftermarket you either need to get a one with its own screen, or buy an aftermarket head unit with a dedicated camera input. I have not seen any aftermarket cameras that connect to the OEM connector/wiring.
