Default $500 For a level??

Just bought my truck. Looking at all the leveled trucks made me want to do the same. These pics are of my truck as is. I got 3 quotes for a 2" level around town. I understand I could put this in myself, but with my limited time, and help in the garage, I don't feel comfortable.

The quote I felt best about was from 4WheelParts. 2" Daystar (I believe it is this kit http://www.autoanything.com/suspensi...A6485A0A0.aspx).

The quote was for $510 including the kit, Alignment, Camber bolts, and labor.

I agreed to do it tomorrow morning. But the more I think about it, $500 seems like a lot for this. Can I get some opinions to nudge me one way or the other? I do want it, but just don't want to be getting ripped off. Seems like all the quotes were around this price.

Default Price

That is about the right price for a level kit installed. Labor rates around my area are 100-130 per hour. About 2-3 hour job plus alignment. I would do coil overs and not level kit on 2014 and newer. Many issues on the 2014s. See my other post about my experience with leveling my 2014.

I canceled the job. I'm just too unsure. Half of me wants to save up and do a 4 or 6" lift with new wheels and tires. Just too soon to know what I want.

I would just do it yourself if you have the time.
