Default 305 tires

Will a 305/55/r 20 tire rub with a 2" leveling kit? One person told me yes and another said no. The one who said yes told me I would have to go with a 285/65/r20, and he told me that is actually a taller tire than the 305s just not as wide. Is this true? My stock tires are 275/55/r20. Any opinions on what tire I should go with? Any help would be much appreciated.

here you go

the width difference is less than an inch between the two new tires and the height difference is just over an inch. im sure they will both rub a small amount at full lock. my uncle has the 285/65/20s on his 08 f250 and they rub on the plastic on the inside of his wheel well.

your speedo will be off by a bit too.
