I put my truck in 4 wheel yesterday and It made a weird noise but all was good.... Today I start driving and I hear a scrapping grinding type noise when I hit the gas but it don't do it in 4 wheel.... What hell is it??? And is it ok to drive to work then to the dealership for warranty work???

Is it for sure all the way out of 4? I want to point fingers at the transfer case, but I'd have to hear it. How loud is it? Maybe have someone stand next to the truck while you roll past. they can probably pinpoint it. I wouldn't drive it if you have an alternative vehicle available...

I'm pretty sure it's out, the 4 wheel light isn't on and it drives normal except for the noise. Then when I'm coming to a complete stop it's sounds like rubbing in the front right but not brake noise it sounds like a cv shaft is going on a car... If you know what I mean

If im not mistaken I believe newer vehicles dont have changing hubs, they're always locked in. The transfer case is the only thing that changes, and when you went into 4 it probably put enough pressure on one of your front cv joints to kill it. Might have been on its way out anyways. Lift the front of the truck up and spin the tires.

I'm not positive here, these are all things I've heard bout newer trucks but never verified myself. So my apologies if im way off, but its what I would do if I had that problem.
