300,000 mile update, 3.5L Ecoboost Gen 1
Just wanted to put this out there, I'm within spittin' distance of 300,000 miles (298,000 today) and my 2011 is still running like a top. No major service, original transmission. I have always changed the oil in my own shop when the computer said to, and I'm always 1 quart low when I change the oil. No oil in between. This has been a good truck and a good engine for me.

Great to hear, and goes to show - if you take care of it, it will take care of you.

All highway, and I baby that throttle. But I tow a few hundred to a few thousand miles a year with 3,000-7,000 lb trailers. 3,73 rear end. Honestly, I feel that I lucked out with this truck given that it was an early ecoboost but I have good luck with all my fords. The chevys need a tranny at about 150,000.

Okie, I moved this to the General thread as it deserves showing off a little.

Whoo! Good to see a 300K Miles Ecoboost still kicking here in Oklahoma! Here's to hoping my truck makes it that far

Not wanting to start a war, but out of curiosity, what oil have you used this whole time? I just want to know if I'm on the right track or if I could change it up a bit. Thanks in advance.

I think you would find that this is not all that unusual for these engines, I know of several personally that have over 250K with no major issues. As with any modern engine/ vehicle, proper maintenance is key.

Good to see that high of mileage. We sell our fleet trucks (F150s with 3.5) off at just over 100k, and out of hundreds of trucks we have had to replace 1 turbo and 1 transmission. Havent been able to see results further out, but I know people were leary of the turbos when Ford first made the change, so glad to see they can last along with the rest of the engine.
