This has probably been discussed ad nauseam in another thread but I wanted to know when the engine goes off in traffic or while stopped with the brake on in drive, is this hard on the starter and battery over time?? Has Ford put new technology in these new features that I am clueless about? What about battery life?? I'm old school and it seems weird when the engine cuts out in traffic when stopped. Absolutely love the truck!!

 

Battery and starter are needed up. Technology is not new and no reason to think it will cause any material diff in wear/tear.
