Default 2wd 94

just bought a 94 150 with the 300 straight six. it's 2wd i want to lift/level it. if someone could tell me whether 2" or 4" suspension is a good idea, and what performance mods i could put on it without hurting it. it has high miles and i've heard it's a bulletproof motor. but i'm not trying to make the truck something it's not. want 31"-33" tires maybe some more power (who doesn't want that?) someone help me out. hopefully with pics?
thanks, russ

You can fit 31s with no lift, maybe even 32s. Some have been able to get 33s on with no lift but having to shim out the front bumper.

My friend had a 94 2wd and we put a leveling kit on it with some 33 BGF Mud Terrains. Its too bad the tires outlasted the truck. It had almost 300,000 miles on it on the original 5.8L.
