For me it's really simple. Can I get up the street I live on in 2WD in a snowstorm? Yep.

Do I WANT to deal with it after working a 12 hour night? No.

I'll never have another 2WD truck unless I build one as a toy.

If you've never gotten your 2wd stuck you honestly werent in some serious stuff. I mud 2wd and 4wd when necc.. Been stuck once and have done plenty of real muddin. No doubt you can tear some stuff up in a 2wd but there is no comparing the 2. Two different breeds.

haha.. ive gotten my pointless 2wd stuck... right beside a never fail 4wd... most of its the driver... ive got 4wd's... 4wd is only used for when you are stuck.. but its also nice to throw it in 4wd on the snow.. and not have to worry to much if you can drive.. i bought a 2wd becouse i have 5 other 4wd's.... i would rather mud a decent 2wd ..locked with decent tires and lifted to get some ground clearence

dont knock 2wd's ...sumbit boy ...everbody kno dat....

oh heres my pointless 3inch level 2wd....dont hate..masterbate

I mean 2wd is fine on the highway when the weather is nice, but 4wd is better, then if your truck is like mine and can do both (run in 2wd or 4wd) there is nothing like it!

I beg to differ on that. On the West Coast you guys just have to deal with storms that blow in from the Pacific. Here on the East Coast you have nor'easters, storms that move up the coast from the southeast and every now and then, lake effect snow blowing in from the west. And incidentally I've plenty of people driving 4x4 drivers who've gotten themselves into trouble by going into ditches and what not all because they thought they were invincible in 4WD. If you drive your vehicle properly you shouldn't have to worry about"getting down on it" and if the weather is that bad enough-THEN DON'T DRIVE THRU IT!!!
