2nd Door can't be opened

I need help opening the 2nd door of my F150 97' model which only have 3 doors only. I can open the 2 doors at the front. How to fix the rear door?

If the hammer option does'nt suit your fancy, pull the panel off the door. If seat is in the way, remove it first.

but.......if the door wont open....how do you get the seat out? is this a trick question?
