25% window tint

i have a 2008 f150 XL and i was wondering if anybody had pics of there trucks with 25% tint on them because my truck is black so it will look good, but i want to see some sweet looking trucks first. Thanks

I think the majority of us that have the 04-08 have 20% - that's what matches the factory rear window tint.

yup.. unless u live in MA. where its only 35% here. which really sucks cuz then u cant match up the rears.. oh well, we strive for black interior around here!!

Window Tint

I say dark tint is better :) I'll go for 20% but then you still have to check the current tint law in your state, you may check it at www.TintBuyer.com. They provide relevant information about window tints such as its types, quotations and will help you find the best professional tinter near your area.

if i went by the laws in my state I'd only get 35%... and that would be too light for me... :D

I had 35% and it wasn't dark enough, so I through on 5% over that.

Those look really good. The only problem with darker than legal tint, aside from the random ticket, is if you have a collision. You're opening up the argument that the reason you didn't see that vehicle you collided with was due to the fact you knowingly and intentionally put darker than legal window tint on your vehicle, thus creating a safety hazard. Not a good idea in today's litigous society.....IMO

since truck windows are "flat" instead of curved like car windows, and single cab trucks, especially, 5% will seem more like 15 or 20... I put 15 on my other truck and changed it to 5, and it still wasn't super dark....

if you can't see with tinted windows you don't have any business with them anyways... the sun bothers my eyes without tint especially on the sides, so it helps prevent the blinding i get from that too.....
