2023 Ford F-150 AC lines freeze up
On the second day we had our brand new 2023 Ford F-150, the AC lines froze up. We took it to the dealership the next day to have them check it out. They basically turned on the vehicle and ran the AC for a little while. They said they couldn't replicate the problem. I pointed out to the service manager that TSB 22-2089 covers F-150s through 2022. Once he pulled that up, he said we could leave the truck there and they would need to put "hundreds" of miles and drive it for several hours to see if they could replicate the problem. (That's typically when it occurs--it doesn't happen on quick trips through town.) We opted not to leave the truck there. At the time it only had 300 miles on it. Now, two weeks later and 700 miles, the truck AC lines froze up again. It's a Sunday or we'd run the truck over to the dealership. I tried chatting with Ford and, too, was basically told if they can't replicate the problem, there's nothing they can do for us. I think this is bulls*it. Has anyone else had this issue . . . and how were you able to get it resolved? Thanks!

David&Cindy...
*This will (re)Search the issue in previous 2021+ Ford F150 posts.
3-year / 36,000 mile warranty.
There are year specific forums which better serve non-general F-150 issues/topics..

I've seen AC lines freeze on the outside in high humidity weather, but not affect AC as there wasn't any moisture inside the system.
I've seen evaporators freeze externally due to humidity bad enough that the blower couldn't blow through it due to a defective deicing switch. Our '85 Tbird would do it, so I'd leave the blower on but switch to vent, and the vent air would blow cold until the ice melted.

2023 Ford F150 AC lines Freeze Up
We have a loaner brand new 2023 loaner F150 because our 2020 is in the shop for a rear axle seal leak. In any event, we took this truck that had less than 100 miles on it for a trip and after an hour, the AC stops working. I popped the hood and one of the lines on the top left engine compartment is also frozen over, just like the picture you submitted. I think it may be low on freon or perhaps the low pressure switch is bad. In any event, my 2020 hasn't had this problem.
