2021 Tow Monitoring complaint

I'm really disappointed that a Ford engineer could not offer a few comments on this thread. It is a legitimate concern/issue, so either:
1) No Ford engineers follow this forum
2) None of the engineers who might be following this forum have the courage to respond
Neither of these possibilities are very satisfying with respect to Ford's concern or care for their customers.
Cheers,
Phil

3) Ford employees aren't allowed to comment on social media, except those on social media teams, who limit their comments to "send me a DM with your information".

PhilP - You have brought up an interesting topic that unfortunately brought up some negative responses. I purchased an item that is called a Scan-Gauge that I used in my 2014 F-150. You could scroll through the screen and pick the items that you wanted to monitor. I had it set for oil temp, transmission temp, and something else. It plugged in to the OBD-2 port. I made a mount and ran the wire up under the dash and mounted it in the sun glass tray on the dashboard. The 2014 didn't have a lot of features so it worked well for that. I have had 2 Lariats since that truck that came with the transmission temp gauge. I may still put it in my 2022 STX to see the trans temp when towing. I think I got it from Advance Auto, boomer. (a wussie with an f-150)
Cheers,
Phil (GenX) :-)
