Neither of these possibilities are very satisfying with respect to Ford's concern or care for their customers.

You missed this option:

3) Ford employees aren't allowed to comment on social media, except those on social media teams, who limit their comments to "send me a DM with your information".

You could scroll through the screen and pick the items that you wanted to monitor. I had it set for oil temp, transmission temp, and something else. It plugged in to the OBD-2 port. I made a mount and ran the wire up under the dash and mounted it in the sun glass tray on the dashboard. The 2014 didn't have a lot of features so it worked well for that. I have had 2 Lariats since that truck that came with the transmission temp gauge. I may still put it in my 2022 STX to see the trans temp when towing. I think I got it from Advance Auto, boomer. (a wussie with an f-150)
Thanks Boomer! I'll check it out.

Cheers,
Phil (GenX) :-)

Um... a DM invite would be a response, wouldn't it? One I would gladly welcome.

Cheers,
The only invite you might get would be from the social media team. You'll never be talking to an engineer. Ever.
