After 18 months of ownership I got back 78% of value on a $64k purchase price. Or 74% value on MSRP. F150'S have lowest trade in value among pickups around 49% after 3-4 years. Because of deep discounts and surplus supply. My number was quite good.

14K loss is still a 14K loss. Mine was only a 7K loss and Ford covered the bill thanks to a good lawyer.

We had the chance to get the '19 limited but went with the platimum because of the rim size and interior color, wish they would have made the high output available on the platinums and king ranches as well, but I think this was all a ploy to sell more limited's. Before the new engine the only thing differentiating the 3 luxury trims were standard features, fully loaded they were pretty much one in the same. It makes sense just wish the two other luxury trims got a shot at the ho engine, 22 inch rims aren't very viable on a jobsite or gravel roads.

That's a great point. Never thought of it that way. It does separate the Limited from the rest of the pack. As a 2019 Limited owner I thank you for the insight. I feel even better about my purchase. 😁

Nice looking Truck @Nohowtoplz ...maybe nicer than some of the homes in the background ;-) I am not a loyalist and may own a Ford again some day. Owned a '16 F150 Lariat. Enjoyed the ecoboost, gas mileage and like the look. Found the ride jittery, technology rather dated and leather/seating rather subpar. It did the towing and hauling I needed. I don't tow 8K lbs of stuff every day - so honestly, the chest pounding Tow benchmarks are outliers for me. However, issues with IWEs, multiple pano-roof issues/replacements, constant frozen latches/recall, washer lines in 20k miles had me look at the Ram. Not sure if you bought off the lot, but most of your feature compares seem off, excluding the seat massage and pwr steering column (at least on mine). I bought a '19 Ram Limited v8 hemi off the lot. Has door sill illumination, power folding mirrors, 35 gallon tank, bed volume is equal (don't have rambox), and I added the side steps for bed entry...but since I have air-suspension I can double click keyfob and lower the entire truck to near sedan height (about a 9" vertical play with air suspension) I don't really use it. I am not going to debate Ford vs Ram etc but I can confirm the '19 Ram is a very impressive p/u - no issues. IMO, it is Ford & Ram for the consumer (non-commercial) market. For me, the '20 Ford needs to be a key and monumental update - their interior and overall style is dated, personally speaking. If they don't update seriously here - it's gonna be game on. GM seems lost.

I bought my 2019 F150 Limited off the lot. I test drove a 2019 Ram Limited and if it had been your version I probably would be driving a Ram today. It stickered at $70k and was loaded. Equipped with the Ram box and etorque engine. No massage seats and steering column were not deal breakers for me. But manual fold tow mirrors and 23 gallon fuel tank were. You have the standard size power fold mirrors. Dealer subsequently got model I wanted but it was too late. I could have had some real fun in that Ram Limited.

Just for the record this is one of the houses in the background. Right across the street. And a couple inside my house. No, the Limited does not look better than either. But it does blend in. Just saying.

Towing is unimpressive on the limited considering the high price and that 2019 cream interior is horrific. KR all the way for me.
