I have a new 2018 3.5EB - what is the normal transmission operating temp? I have seen it 136 on daily commute and today on the interstate I checked and it was 196-201. I know my Tahoe was 212 normal. What' should the 150 be? Thanks

 

Varies some, i see like 190 on the highway, daily to work it might hit 150 because it doesn't have time to warm up all the way. Towing i have saw 215 when accelerating hard but it comes back down to 199 normally at highway speed.

 

Wouldn't worry at all as long as the gauge does not get near the middle mark or past that.
