Default Questioning

Questioning the OP's claim to be an auto engineer, due to his usage of the term "motor" to describe the powerplants. Automotive powerplants are "engines", not "motors". That's mechanical engineering 101.

A lot of people say motor and I know what they are talking about and there is nothing wrong with that, it's not a felony, geez..., some people get hung up on some of the stupidest ****.

Maybe it says "Ford Motor Company" on his checks.

Someone should tell Pennzoil, Mobil 1, and Castrol that they need to start making ENGINE oil as all their products are 'motor oil'.

definitions

Motor
Noun
a machine, especially one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for some other device with moving parts.

Engine
Noun
a machine with moving parts that converts power into motion.

For powering a vehicle, the two are 100% interchangeable, after all it is known as a Motor Car. Never heard anyone call it an Engine Car. Now if the OP was talking about a locomotive and calling the engine a motor, you have a legit beef.

If I had a company gas card, I would try the Toyota.... but I don’t. First truck I bought, I bought on price in 2006. Ford was less that Chevy at the time, so I got a Ford. Now 14 years later, I don’t buy on price anymore, and I choose the Ford F-150 with a 3.7 Eco. Thrilled with 20 mpg on average, turbo is great, tows what I got, and mileage is 33% better than my ‘06. And, like most of you, I don’t use my truck like a truck 90% of the time, but at least I don’t have a bed cover on it! LoL.
