2016 2.7l TSB
O.K. so I have read all the posts re. 2.7l engine failures with the low oil/smoking engine problem listed in TSB 17-0007. And with page after page of detailed descriptions of how owners went through the painful process of replacing their engines (or replacing the entire truck!) I have YET to see where anyone was told the actual cause of the failure.
Have I missed something, or is this a very well kept secret? Seems to be a lot of very knowledgeable people in this forum who really dig for answers and nobody seems to know why these engines are failing. Anyone know why?
