So I bought this 2015 latait FX4 about 3 weeks ago and I have put at 2.5 inch level kit and also 295/60/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers. The problem that im having is a weird noise on front passenger side and started after leveling kit and tires. It sound like two pieces of metal hitting together, but took wheel off and cant find any evidence of anything. I can put the pedal to the floor, jerk the wheel hard either way, hit brakes, and turn wheel and gas it and cant make it happen again. Seen to happen after in on the road for 10 to 15 mins then will start and i will pull over take a look then get back on road again. Please help

 

Same thing happened to me after I personally installed my RC 2.5 " front only kit. Took me about a week to figure out we forgot to fully tighten the nut on the underside of the tie rod end. Tightened it right up and have had no issues. I was extremely pissed when I heard the noise and started doubting my decision to put the leveling kit on in the first place. But now of course, I wouldn't have it any other way. Wasn't until I got down there and did some heaving shaking pushing and pulling on the body until I found it. Hope you found the problem by now.
