A 35x12.5 will fit on factory wheels with a 2 in level. I just got a set of 2018 raptor wheels and the fit with no rubbing. My truck has been trimmed but sometimes you have to be willing to trim to fit big tires. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...6c28f2c12.jpeg |
Pretty sure the Raptor wheel is wider than a regular F150 wheel. Plus it's a 17" wheel, not 18 like the op needs. Oh and FYI you can't put a lift kit on with any wheel smaller than 18" according to Rough Country. Don't know about other lift kit manufacturers.

The raptor wheels are 8.5in wide, the same as stock 20in wheels but have 10mm less offset(+34) stock is +44. If you are set on a 9 wide wheel look at a +18 or so on the offset. That will set the tire just on the inside of the fender. A 9 wide with that offset will almost sit almost identical to the raptor wheel I have. |

OK. Let me sure I understand. As stated above by Rncomp I have stock rims right now that are said to be 7.5" wide. I know they are 18" rims. With that understanding and also knowing I have a 2" leveling Kit installed already can I go to a so called Junk Yard and find 4 Raptor rims (That are not bent from a crash) and install 35 X 12.50 tires on my truck and not have any rubbing and also they not stick out much at all?

Yes, they may rub a little bit on the plastic on the front bumper. But you can trim that. You could also find a set of factory 20in wheels from an F150 they are the same width as the raptor wheels or any aftermarket 9in wide wheel with a +18 offset will work. But you could also run a 35/12.5r18 on your stock wheels. A ton of guys do it and you shouldn’t have any issues. I ran a 285 on a 7in wide wheel and never had an issue. I would run a wide tire on a factory wheel but I never had the factory wheels for my truck.

ok great. some say I can run a 35 x 12.50 on my stock rims without and premature tire tread wearing and others say it to narrow of a time. What i'm seeing on average is I need a t least a 9"rim. Your saying to use a +18 and others are saying to use a +44. I'm so confused now I have forgotten what kind of truck I have Ha Haa!
