2013 F-150 Lift question
 

Hello people I'm the new guy on the site so Ill apologize now if I'm posting in the wrong area. I have a 2013 F-150 Eco boost crew cab 4x4. A few years back I installed a 2" leveling kit just to level the truck a little. I am wanting to put a set of 35X12.50 tires under the truck. I have heard and read that the tires will fit but I may have some rubbing of the tires on the plastic front wind flare in tight turns. I have also read somewhere that if I choose the correct Off Set in the rims I will not have that problem at all. I am also not very interested in the tires sticking out past the finders much at all. I use the truck primarily to drive to and from work. I don't go four wheeling on the weekend as a hobby. My main reason for the larger tires is cosmetics. I do hunt as much as possible so the extra few inches will obviously help me out when traveling across fields or on logging roads thru the woods occasionally. I also pull a 19 foot boat to the lake from time to time. By the way I have stock rims on my truck. Some say they will do fine with 12.50 tires and others say they will wear in the middle because they are to narrow. Needless to say I would love to keep the stock rims but obviously don't want to prematurely wear out tires. With that being said can you guys offer any guidance as to what I can do to my truck?

Go with a 35x10.50, 12.50 requires a minimum width rim of 9" Then you should have no problem using your stock rims.

Rnlcomp thank you for the information. My heart is really set on 35 X 12.50 tires. I will buy the 9" rims as recommended by you. Can you tell me the correct Offset I should look for? As I stated I don't want the tires sticking out any more than necessary. If I need a suspension lift to make it work I will also do that also. I appreciate your help.

Factory offset is +44 the closer you get to 0 the farther out they stick, I'm running a 9.5" wide wheel with -12 offset 35x12.50x18 and they stick out about 2". I'm 2wd so your truck will sit about 2" higher. I'll just throw a couple pics out and you can decide from there.

Great Looking truck! So they are 35 X12.50 tires? Wow! you don't have a lift at all?

Guys I'm really getting pumped looking at that red Ford!! OK so let me be sure I understand. I am going to order 9.5" rims with -44 Offset to eliminate the tires from sticking out. I will also be running a 35 X12.50 tires under my truck and no lift will be needed other than the 2" leveling kit I already have installed. Is this correct or did I get lost somewhere in lift chat?

+44 not -44 a negative 44 will have them sticking out almost 4"

Ok I'm on it! Do you think I can handle a +50 without rubbing?
