2010 F150 4x4 common problems
As stated in my intro, I am new to Fords and the F150. Just bought a 2010 Super Crew, short bed. Are there any issues (trans, engine, interior, electrical, etc.) that have popped up w/ these trucks. Hope not, but better to be aware of a potential problem than have it sneak up on me. Also, if your issues don't rise to the level of "problems", what should have been improved. Thanks

I have the same set up as you. Only problems I've run into is the tranny shudder/kick when stepping on it at highway speed. Besides that the only thing I have to complain about is the weather stripping between the dash and the windshield on the driver side has started to come out.

It's been smooth sailing in my 2010 FX4. Had the seal around the satellite antenna replaced under warranty. There was a small water leak into the cab. Also resealed the 3rd brake light since that's a known leaker. Everything else has been great.

2010 4x4 5.4 lariat super crew. I have had the 4x4 worked on twice, trans work, diff work. Over all it's a good truck but I am scared to see what it is going to cost me to keep when it get like over 100k on it. Btw it has 36000

Dang Southern, those are the problems I was worried about. What were the specific issues on the 4x4, trans, and diff? What did Ford do to remedy those issues?

Yes there is a reprogram to fix that. If that doesnt work the torque converter needs to be replaced. Reprogramming is pretty quick and easy just tell the dealer you would like to wait and they will shedual it so your in and out.
