Yeah, here in texas its illegal to text while driving, but you can still use the handheld phones, they have not outlawed that yet...personally, since im more of a libertarian, i don't think they should have laws at all controlling this type of stuff, people should just use a thing called personal responsibility, but it seems that the concept of it has been gone for decades now...they did also recently outlaw use of cell phones in school zones though, saw someone get pulled over for it the other day...

Glad I have the sync system and that i can now use my phone in my vehicle, before, i just wouldn't ever pick it up, it wouldn't come out of my pocket while driving, and still doesn't since bluetooth works fine with it in there.

Nice win against the mini, I'm guessing he was ticketed for the accident? Make sure and charge his insurance to fix any scratches you have, however small they are.

No way, they need to have laws controlling this type of stuff. A vehicle is a dangerous piece of equipment. Anything that takes your attention from the road should be against the law. Its one thing when you are doing something that can only hurt yourself, but in this case, someone's inattentiveness can cost others their lives...not just the ******** not paying attention.
