Question 2007 f150 4.6 v8 spark plug failed

Was told the spark plug came loose and blew my motor. Truck has 91000 miles on it. They are replacing the motor with a 2009 model 4.6 but should I worry about this happening again and it coming out of my pocket. Does anybody know if ford fixed the problem before 09.

First time I heard of spark plug coming loose and blowing an engine. I've fixed many spark plugs that have come loose and blown out of the cylinder but that can be repaired.

^ x2 Blowing the plug out of the cylinder shouldn't have killed the motor unless there were a ton of particles that happened to stay in the cylinder. If the new motor is a 2v 4.6, just torque the plugs to 28 ft/lbs and you won't have to worry about a blowout again.
