Hey guys new here to the forum, I registered because my truck has been giving me some issues the last while. I have a 2006 f150 4x4 with a 5.4 triton. I am at my wits end because I can't seem to figure out what's giving me issues. The truck runs good when it's cold however after getting to temp it starts to cause issues. The engine starts to idle low and knocks a bit, sometimes it has been pretty bad in the past but my attempts to fix it may have made it a little better, it stalls occasionally. It isn't throwing any codes anymore as I've seemed to fix that problem (vct soloniod) I've replaced the spark plugs (what a nightmare) camshaft sensors, and a few hoses. I'm not sure what I should start looking at anymore

 

There is literally hundreds of threads on this. Your cam phasers are bad, meaning they need changed along with timing chains, timing chain guides and oil pump.
