2001 engine swap...
Hi folks,
years ago I owned a 2001 Supercrew/ 4.6L. I really loved the styling of the SC but the 4.6L was a real dog. I'm looking for another 2001 Supercrew but I understand that the 5.4 has had a little bit of a history of spitting out spark plugs, as well as a few other issues. My question is: is there another model engine that would be an easy swap, like Mustang V8 or crate engine? I wouldn't be doing the swap myself; I'd find a shop do it. I want it to be as much of a direct swap as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with engine swaps using something other than a factory F150 engine? Thanks in advance.
